DIY Bonjour Welcome Mat

 Last Friday a girlfriend and I decided to get together and do a little simple craft. I am all about an easy and simple craft and this one took about 10 minutes to do. What you need is a plain door mat, stencils, outdoor paint, and stencil brushes. I saw some cute ideas on Pinterest for what you can put on the welcome mat but we chose to keep it simple and just do bonjour. You could also make them as a custom gift for friends or family!

Instructions:

1. Figure out your desired saying and tape the letters together from stencil.

2. Tape down your word onto the mat. It is ok if its not completely adhered, more to just help it from moving around.

3. Take your stencil brush and paint inside the stencil but dabbing the area over and over. The mat will soak up quite a bit of paint so make sure you fully paint the area. 

4. Remove stencil and let dry! Super simple and cute!
